Your Holiday Itinerary
Board your luxury coach and the first stop on the tour will be in Waterford, to explore the Viking Triangle Museum of Treasures and the historic House of Waterford Crystal.
This morning we will visit the Dunbrody Family Ship and re-live what it was like to be on board and have a unique insight into the bravery and fortitude with which Irish people faced up to a desperate situation. This will be followed with a visit to the Kennedy Homestead, birthplace of President John F. Kennedy’s great-grandfather Patrick Kennedy. In the afternoon, we visit the Irish National Heritage Park.
After breakfast we will visit Kilkenny City, starting with Kilkenny Castle which has been in existence for over eight centuries with many additions and alterations have been made to the fabric of the building. In the afternoon take a visit to the Medieval Mile Museum before a walking tour of the city’s Medieval Mile trail.
Today the group will visit the oldest operational lighthouse in the world, Hook Lighthouse off the south coast of Co. Wexford before the return journey home.
