The Balmoral Agricultural Show

The Balmoral Show is Ireland’s biggest annual extravaganza of all things Agricultural and Food and entertains and educates the entire family. There will be approximately 520 trade exhibitors and 1,000 livestock exhibitors at the event. We will take you there by luxury coach to enjoy this fantastic event. With an astounding level of agricultural competition, stunt attractions, shopping, displays and crafts, the Balmoral Show is always a fantastic day out!
The Main Arena is packed with many exhilarating attractions over the 4 days of the Show. International Show Jumping classes as well as the Cattle Parade, showcasing winners and breeds.
Balmoral Show attracts top quality livestock, all competing for prized red rosettes and prestigious Balmoral Championship titles. With over 3500 animals entered, the excellence and variety on display is unrivalled. There are livestock classes for a variety of farm animals from cattle, sheep, pigs and goats to poultry and rabbits.
The SPAR Arena will entertain all members of the family. Enjoy circus workshops, dog handling displays and much more.
International Show Jumping
6 international competitions will take place from the Wednesday to Friday of show week.
The Children’s Farm showcases an array of baby farm animals. Children can hold and feed the baby animals, and also have the chance to meet snakes, tarantulas with the popular Zoo-to-you Interactive Animal Encounters.
The Healthy Horticulture area will entice and excite green fingered enthusiasts. Ulster Beekeepers will provide interactive areas as well as herb and wildlife gardens.
Northern Ireland Food Pavilion
Showcasing the best of Northern Ireland produce.
There are over 650 trade stands situated all over the showgrounds. From farm and plant machinery to crafts, food and fashion.
See the various shearing and wool handling competitions which will take place over the 4 days in the Shearing Pavilion.
Beside the Shopping Village you will find the popular Fun Fair which is full of rides and games to entertain all ages.

Today we will travel to Belfast with a visit to the Irish National Stud and Japanese Gardens along the way and a stop for lunch on route. Enjoy a whistle-stop city tour when you arrive in Belfast.

In the morning we will return to the Balmoral Show for a half day visit before boarding the coach and returning home, with a break for dinner on the return.
