Your Holiday Itinerary
On the first afternoon the group will travel to Wexford for an overnight stay.
Today we will be taking the early morning crossing from Rosslare to the UK and begin our visit to the beautiful countryside of the Cotswolds. The group will be staying in Gloucester for the four nights.
This morning we will explore Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of William Shakespeare. During the day we will visit the homes of Shakespeares life, including Anne Hathaways Cottage and Shakespeares Birthplace. In the afternoon, enjoy a 45-minute cruise along the River Avon, cruising downstream past the Royal Shakespeare Theatre and Holy Trinity Church (the site of Shakespeares tomb).
Today we will have a guided tour in Oxford with some free time to explore the City of Dreaming Spires at leisure. In the afternoon enjoy a drive through the Cotswolds, including the beautiful Stow-on-the-Wold and the Little Venice of the Cotswolds, Bourton-on-the-Water.
After a leisurely breakfast we will visit the spectacular Blenheim Palace. Built in the early 1700s, this stunning country house is home to the 12th Duke of Marlborough and was originally a gift from Queen Anne to John Churchill, the 1st Duke of Marlborough. In 1987 it was designated a UNESCO World Heritage site. Enjoy a day to explore the palace, park and gardens.
