London's Tutankhamun, Big Ben and Kew Gardens

This tour will be based around London and will cover all the major highlights of the city, including London Tower, the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace and a visit to the Natural History Museum. The Royal Botanical Gardens, Kew offer magnificent scenery and landscapes. A special feature on this tour is a visit to the Tutankhamun and the Treasures of the Golden Pharaoh Exhibition at the London Saatchi Museum on its final world tour.

Day 1
Start the tour with an early morning ferry sailing from Rosslare to the Bristol area, where we will be staying for the first night.

Day 2
After breakfast board the coach and today we will be taking a tour in Oxford, the City of Dreaming Spires, full of magnificent cathedrals, churches and of course the renowned university. Later in the day we travel on to our hotel on the outskirts of London.

Day 3
An early start this morning as we visit the Saatchi Gallery to view the Tutankhamun and the Treasures of the Golden Pharaoh Exhibition. The collection includes over 150 original artefacts on their final world tour before they return to Egypt permanently. In the afternoon take a visit to the British Natural History Museum.

Day 4
Today we will explore London some more with our city guide, starting with the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace before a walk by Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Downing St, Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square and St Paul’s Cathedral. Later enjoy some free time to shop on Oxford St, take a stroll in Hyde Park or take a ride on the London Eye.

Day 5
Kew Gardens is a botanical garden in southwest London that houses the “largest and most diverse botanical and mycological collections in the world”. Enjoy time to visit Kew Palace, the Waterlily House, the Victorian glasshouses, the Treetop Walkway, the rock gardens and arboretums. Later in the day we travel back to the Bristol area.

Day 6
Today we will return by ferry to Rosslare and back to your original starting point.
