As we take a cruise on lovely Loch Lomond and visit the majestic Kelpies, we will also explore the Trossachs National Park and marvel at the engineering of the Falkirk Wheel. We will also take a tour in Edinburgh City before taking in the annual Royal Military Tattoo Parade at Edinburgh Castle.

Your Holiday Itinerary

Day 1
Board your luxury coach and travel via Belfast to Scotland. On the first night we will be staying near Cairnryan.

Day 2
This morning we begin with a tour at the Auchentoshan Distillery before an afternoon cruise on Loch Lomond. Later we check in to our hotel in Perth, where we will be staying for the next 4 nights.
Day 3
Today we will begin with a visit to Falkirk and the engineering marvel that is the Falkirk Wheel, the worlds’ only rotating boat lift. Afterwards, visit the majestic Kelpies, an imposing structure 30m high with two horse heads depicting ancient kelpies (shape shifting water spirits). In the afternoon enjoy some time to explore the city of Perth.

Day 4
We venture north into the heart of the highlands, with a drive through Scotland’s most beautiful glens and a visit to the town of Fort William, located at the foothills of Ben Nevis, the UK’s highest mountain. We will also stop in Glencoe, Scotland’s most historic and most romantic glen.
Day 5
Enjoy a guided tour of Edinburgh City and wander along the Royal Mile. Enjoy some free time to discover the city at your own pace before attending the traditional Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo Parade at Edinburgh Castle.
Day 6
We visit Scone Palace in Perth, a red sandstone building that was the crowning place of Scottish kings where Macbeth, Robert the Bruce and Charles II were once crowned. From there we depart Perth and spend the afternoon in Glasgow before returning to Stranraer for our last night in Scotland.
Day 7
An early start today as we take the morning ferry sailing to Belfast and return home in the afternoon.
