Explore magnificent gardens, castles, cliffs, moorland park and medieval towns and discover the unspoilt beauty of the southwest and its stunning landscape and picturesque harbour towns. For our getaway to Cornwall we will be based in the very southwestern corner of England, in the town of St Ives, which is surrounded by golden beaches, harbour villages and historic monuments.

Your Holiday Itinerary

Day 1
On the first afternoon the group will travel to the Wexford area for an overnight stay.

Day 2
This morning we take an early sailing from Rosslare to the UK Board your luxury coach and start your journey to Devon, nicknamed The English Riviera. We travel by ferry to the UK and drive to the south coast harbour town of Torquay where we are staying for the next two nights.

Day 3
Today the group will take a guided tour of Torquay, a vibrant seaside town with a marina, museums, caves, cliffs, galleries, and gardens. It is also the home of the famous 19th century novelist Agatha Christie. In the afternoon the group will have time at leisure to visit Torquay.

Day 4
We depart Devon this morning and travel to Cornwall, tucked away in the very southwest of the country.
Our visit today will include the Eden Project, the largest indoor rainforest in the world. With its stunning garden displays, world-class sculpture and art, cutting-edge architecture and steamy jungles and waterfalls, it’s easy to understand why the Eden Project has earned the nickname of the ‘eighth Wonder of the World’. From here we continue to Cornwall’s beautiful St Ives where we are staying for the next 3 nights.

Day 5
Our adventures today take us on a drive around the most south westerly point of mainland UK, with a chance to discover this stunning location. We will stop at St Michaels Mount, an island linked by causeway that has a medieval castle, Norman church and sub tropical gardens. Other highlights along the coast include Land’s End, Penzance and golden beaches.

Day 6
Enjoy a morning to explore St Ives at leisure. Described as the ‘prettiest town in Cornwall’ this seaside town and fishing harbour is on the map for its golden beaches and art scene. In the afternoon we will travel a little further north along the coast as far as Tintagel, and visit the Castle, which legend has it was the birthplace of King Arthur.

Day 7
We depart St Ives this morning and enjoy a leisurely journey through the scenic Exmoor National Park and visit the north Devon coastline. On our final night we will overnight near Bristol.

Day 8
Board your luxury coach once more for your journey back to Ireland.
